Welcome:
Area Info
The City
The city of Bellingham is the last major city
before the Washington coastline reaches Canada. Bellingham is situated one hour
from Vancouver B.C to the north and an hour and
a half from Seattle to the south. On the
west is Bellingham Bay and on the east are the
Cascade Mountains. There are an amazing
number of things to do in Bellingham.
Outside Magazine (Sept 2001) rates Bellingham as
one of the nations top ten "Dream Towns", citing
Whatcom County's 143 miles of shoreline, 3000
miles of river and stream, towering Cascade
Mountain peaks, and old-growth forests among the
region's most valuable assets.

Beer, Wine and Liquor
Washington wineries and breweries will be a
delight for connoisseurs.
Washington wineries take advantage of six
federally recognized American Viticultural
Areas, and is on the same latitude as
the great French wine regions of Bordeaux and
Burgundy.
In case you didn't know, Washington is the
largest producer of Hops, accounting for 75% of
all U.S. Hops production (25% globally).
This means that
Washington brewers are using the freshest
hops available for creating their beers.
Liquor is sold in the
state owned stores, and there are three in
Bellingham.
